About Omma YogaThe Omma Yoga and Pilates Mat Bag was created by sisters Rika and Rina Yano. On a plane ride one winter vacation, the sisters (both long time yoga practitioners) struck up a conversation about the lack of stylish yet functional and affordable yoga bags for active urban practitioners. Rika wanted something chic that she could carry around in her resident city of Tokyo. Rina, who walks to her yoga class from her office at a Hollywood studio, wanted something practical that would fit all of her belongings in one bag. The two sisters' ideas merged and the Omma Yoga and Pilates Mat Bag was born. Rika and Rina named their company Omma after their beloved grandmother. |
